After yesterday's heavy snowfall, the sandy fields of Dalmine today were completely covered with a white white, accentuated by the shining sun of this morning. Nothing better for a run workout and fun!
Running in the snow is really hard and try to keep a good pace is definitely a great way to strengthen your leg muscles. For this reason, in ' hour training I had planned this morning, I entered a bit 'of changes in rhythm: 5 x 2' 2 Fast 'slow and 10' in progress, all interspersed with 10 'slow.
At the end of training my legs were really tested by the work done and I had the impression that running in the snow, though beaten, with the same effort, you lose ten to fifteen seconds per kilometer. In the sections where I could barely stay under 4 '/ km, in fact, was
like running at the rate of anaerobic threshold. Fatigue aside, however .... TOO GOOD! :)
And here are the areas where I raced in the photo taken yesterday when the snow fell more abundant.
